Lindomar defeated Alexander

Battle Format: Single
Battle Video: 9PKW-WWWW-WWXU-CMUG

Lindomar: Aegislash, Thundurus, Hitmontop, Heatran, Salamence, Serperior
Alexander: Politoed, Moltres, Parasect, Jolteon, Dragonite, Scizor

Lindomar rebounded from his loss to Alexander at Spring Skirmish with a win in the rematch. Alexander got on the board first with Volt (Jolteon) scoring a KO on CarltonDance (Hitmontop). Lindomar then called on the MVP of the battle, Busterblader (Aegislash), who proceeded to rip off 3 straight KOs. Alexander tried to battle back as Razorclaw (Scizor) took down Lord Raiden (Thundurus), but Busterblader would be too much. Busterblader hit the field again, and once again netted 3 straight KOs, giving it all 6 of its team’s KOs and the victory to Lindomar.

Connor defeated Cody

Battle Format: Single, Best of 3
Battle 1 Video: D5WW-WWWW-WWXU-QNRE
Battle 2 Video: PVBW-WWWW-WWXU-QNS5

Lineups:
Connor: Breloom, Talonflame, Mamoswine, Blastoise, Metagross, Dragonite
Cody: Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Scrafty, Rotom (Heat), Espeon, Swampert

Connor blitzed Cody in the first battle in this best of 3 match. Solomon (Breloom) was the only Pokémon that Connor needed to use in this battle. Thanks to some favorable type match-ups, and a Swords Dance attack boost, Solomon was able to take down all 6 of Cody’s Pokémon to give Connor a quick 1-0 lead in the match.

Cody gave Connor a much more competitive battle in the second battle, but it just wasn’t quite enough. Connor was the first to see a Pokémon fall as Mamoswine succumbed to damage from its burn. Dreadnaught (Talonflame) scored the first KO of the battle for Connor by taking down Garchomp. Cody took the advantage back with Kenmore (Rotom) getting the KO on Dreadnaught. Connor fired back with Solomon sandwiching 2 KOs around Kenmore going down thanks to Stealth Rocks. The second of Solomon’s KOs saw it go down as well thanks to the Rocky Helmet of Echidna (Ferrothorn). The damage had been done though. Metagross took over from here for Connor and picked up the final 2 KOs of the battle to claim the match.

Sethyas defeated Zero

Battle Format: Rotation

Lineups:

Zero: Charizard, Slowbro, Gliscor, Bisharp, Sylveon, Venusaur

Sethyas scored a big over the trainer currently sitting atop the rankings, Zero. Sethyas got off the blocks quick with Thysaes (Milotic) scoring a KO and Rykor (Scizor) following it up with 2 KOs. Zero answered with Slow (Slowbro), who managed to pick up 3 consecutive KOs to draw even. But that would be the end of Zero’s scoring in this one. Sethyas called on Talonflame, who rattled off a 3 KO streak of its own to bring this battle to a close.

Howler defeated Draexzhan

Sun’s out (Mega Swampert) followed that up with a KO on Umbra (Umbreon). Draexzhan got on the board as Atlas (Terrakion) took down Sun’s out, but that would be the only KO Draexzhan would score.
