Draexzhan: Hydreigon, Aegislash, Swampert, Talonflame, Manectric, Gyarados
Alexander: Wigglytuff, Golem, Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Dragonite

Draexzhan took the fight to Alexander in his own favorite battle style. Gianfar (Talonflame) got the ball rolling for Draexzhan after a KO on Golem. Alexander answered with Blastoise taking Gianfar down. Draexzhan surged ahead with Kastra (Gyarados) and Regulus (Aegislash) scoring KOs. Alexander managed to pull even again as Highball (Dragonite) and Charizard each notched KOs. Kaffaljidhma (Swampert) and Schedar (Mega Manectric) catapulted Draexzhan once again in front with KOs, leaving Alexander with just Blastoise remaining. Blastoise was able to take Schedar down, but the numbers were too much as Kaffaljidhma scored its 2nd KO of the battle to bring it to an end.

Howler jumped out to a quick lead in this best of 3 match. Politoed picked up a pair of quick KOs. Connor grabbed his only KO of the battle as Robin (Garchomp) took Politoed down. Ludicolo finished the job for Howler by scoring KOs on Connor’s final 2 Pokémon.

Connor came roaring back in the second battle. Dreadnaught (Talonflame) and Solomon (Breloom) scored KOs before Howler’s initial 2 Pokémon could even make a move. Dreadnaught took Ludicolo down for its 2nd KO of the battle before Mega Mawile could finally put a stop to it. Mega Gyarados finished off Mega Mawile to pull Connor even in the match.

Howler relied on disruption to pull out the win in the third battle. Connor got off the block first with Dreadnaught getting the KO on Ludicolo, but the recoil from its Brave Bird took it down as well. Mega Mawile gave the advantage to Howler after a KO on Solomon. Robin was the next Pokémon to fall for Connor, as it succumbed to damage from a burn. Mega Gyarados was able to finally finish off Sableye, but it also fell victim to burn damage to end the battle and the match in Howler’s favor.

Ivory (Donphan) picked up a KO on Son Goku (Infernape), but that would be the last KO that Zero’s team would score.
